About Katherine

Located in Rockland, Ontario, Studio St Pierre is led by Katherine, a certified teacher with over 25 years of performance experience as a singer and musician. From a young age, Katherine took part in a wide range of music lessons, gaining experience across instruments and styles. Growing up in Ottawa, she sang with the Ottawa Children’s Choir and attended a high school music concentration program, later performing in choirs, bands, and as a solo vocalist.

In addition to performing, Katherine has directed children’s choirs recognized with gold standings at the Kiwanis Music Festival, and has taught students of all ages in both classroom and private settings. With over 12 years of teaching experience, she brings both expertise and a supportive approach to every lesson. Instruction is tailored to each student’s goals and learning style, with an emphasis on healthy technique, creativity, and a genuine love of music.

Lessons are available for piano, voice, drums, theory, and percussion, and may be taught in English or French. With a background in education and experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, Studio St Pierre offers a welcoming and inclusive environment where every student can thrive.
